Can I wear hair pins, a flower and a veil?

Anybody have pics of this? I have my first updo hair trial tomorrow. I really love the idea of hair pins, but I also love the idea of a fresh flower in my hair (like an orchid)...it sounds like too much, but does it look like too much? Has anyone done this?

Re: Can I wear hair pins, a flower and a veil?

My honest opinion: wearing all three at the same time is JUST TOO MUCH. You don't want to 'one-up' your dress and your dress is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

I would suggest wearing your hair pins and your veil for the ceremony, and then for the reception, taking the veil off, leaving the hair pins, and adding a fresh flower on the side.

Good idea about waiting until the reception to add the flower - now why didn't I think of that???

I agree-too much.
My cousin got married last week and the bride had hair pins and her veil for the ceremony-I think adding a flower would be too much drawn away from you
