Place Cards
What is everyone doing for place cards? Are people doing standards cards or something original, i.e. charts, picture frames, etc.?
Also, are you naming your tables or using standard numbers?
Post pics if you have anything creative
I am so stuck on this.
PS --> If I have confused anyone I do apologize

Re: Place Cards
i was originally going to do the votive placecards, but i think i'm going to nix the idea because i have too many guests and i dont think it will be very feasible.
so now, i think i'm going to do regular cardstock placecards.

My placecards are cardstock with a vellum overlay.

Re: Place Cards
Hi and welcome! Congrats on your engagement!
I did placecards over vellum bags filled with Lindt truffles (held in place by a satin ribbon)...sounds a lot more complicated than it was. Pictures in my review! They were very easy to make and a huge hit.
Happy planning!
Edited to add: We named our tables after diamond "cuts" (shapes)...so they were Emerald, Princess, Round, Marquise, Heart... etc. Not everyone got it, but those that did found it cute and thought it was "me".

Re: Place Cards
I am printing out placecards that I bought in Michael's and then putting dried flowers on the top to add a little color to them. We are doing table names instead of numbers. Things like love, happiness, forever, devotion etc.
