I have never stayed there but went on a tour when i was a teen.
This place is beautiful but also a little out of my price range.

What about Woodstock, VT? It's a lovely little village with B&B's and also a large Inn, close to Killington and a small mountain closer.

There's also the Queechee (sp?) Gorge which you can hike nearby ... The Billings Farm & Museum, etc - well, check out the link
