repost-how to let people know where you are registered?

FH and I did not put any info about our registry in our invitations because from what we understand that's a no-no. However, we are starting to realize the crowd that we have invited (with a few exceptions) are not going to be giving money. Further, no one has even asked where we are registered.

I am fine with no money, but I would like it if people would use our registry. What can we do at this point to let people know without seeming rude?

How about word of mouth? Let your immediate family know its ok to tell people where you are registered.

If you are registered at Macys they can send things out for you..
otherwise I would guess word of mouth
