It is official, WE HAVE A HONEYMOON!!!

It was not until my MOH and one of my BM's reamed FH, that we finally went to book our honeymoon. We went to the American Express travel agency in the Citibank building across from Roosevelt Field - theone where Fortunoff gives you a $100 off coupon when you register.

We are going to Hawaii for 11 nights:

OAHU - Two nights at the Royal Hawaiian
KAUAI - Three nights at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa in Koloa
HAWAII - Two nights at the Volcano House in Hawaii Volcano National Park/Hilo
MAUI - Four Nights at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa in Kaanapali

DONE DEAL!!!

I wish we had that much time to island hop. But FH and I discussed it last night, I think we're just gonna go to Oahu.

He said we have the rest of our lives to go to the other islands.

We planned the wedding around a holiday week from school so we could have an extended honeymoon. I am taking two days off before the wedding and the 5 days after Presidents week is over. My school wouldnt have let me take more than that. To be truthful, I didnt ask. I already have my substitute lined up.

If you don't mind me asking..........around how much were you going to spend?
We found a deal on travelocity for 10 nights in Maui for around 3300........but I would love to go to different islands......

FH booked it but we are at a hair under 7K. It was his choice to spend it though I may not have. I should also mention that we are not paying for plane tickets. He was able to spend more on the hotels because Mom gave us her frequent flyer miles from her American Advantage program. Saved us about $1300-$1400.

I'm going to Hawaii in November...I got free tickets from work and I'm SOOOO excited!
I'm staying in Honolulu for 3 nights and Kauai for 5 at that gorgeous Hyatt!
