What's a good gift to give to your good friend who you just found is having a baby?

a baby book, a blanket, there are so many cute ideas.. I made my sister a blanket..

You can get her a book to keep all of her memories from the pregnancy and then later pictures of the baby.

Give her a gift card. I think its better to wait towards the end of the pregnancy to give her toys and baby goodies. At least with a gift card she could use it to find what she wants for the babies room. Oh here is one, give her a gift card to a materity store. Those out fits are expensive, and new moms have very little to select from.

diapers!

someone told me a while ago that you should always give expecting mom's diapers. can't have enough.

I would also get her a book ... like 'what to expect when you're expecting', etc.
