Booking hall today!

I'm pretty sure we're going to book the hall today! I'm wondering if there is anything that I should ask or know before hand. Anyone have any advice or suggestions?

make sure you find out how much they charge for gratuity and any other charges aside from the per person $ amount.

Find out:

1. How much money do you have to put down

2. What is their payment plan.

3. What is their cancelation policy [you never know! ]

4. Do they supply placecards for the tables and directional maps?

Thanks, this definitely helps! I know they supply the place cards and the direction maps. Am I correct that the tax and gratuity is in addition to the per person price?

Wendy...right before I started planning my wedding, I bought the book' The Knots Complete Guide To Weddings In the Real World'.
It has helped me soooo much.
It has all the questions you need to ask all your vendors and a lot of other stuff too. I got it on half.com for like $5 or you can buy it in any bookstore for about $20.
It really helped me. You might want to look into it.
