order of ceremony help
hi. fi & i (aka me) are writing our own CEREMONY. the only problem is that i'm not sure of the order of things. can those of you who are having a religous/traditional ceremony please help out? below are the components we'd like to incorporate:welcome
little story about us
vows (do you take so and so to be your...)
exchange of rings
mom's lighting unity candle
us lighting unity candle
pronouncing us man & wife/kiss

At my brother's ceremony they had the mom's light the unity candle before the vows, then they light the candle after the rings. I don't know - maybe to symbolize that the 2 individual lights were shining prior to the marriage?
