When do you book Hair/Makeup?

I want to know how early is too early to book hair and makeup? Do you do the trial runs before booking or go off of referrals and just book and then do the trials right before the wedding? I'm so confused.

Trust me its never too early!!! I booked hair in August...Hair Genie..who is awesome by the way!

I am getting married in July...

And I booked makeup with Oksana in September! And Oksana is awesome as well.

I had my trials with them and then booked them on the spot after the trial was done. I would definetely do a trial. BUT I would start looking now....the popular artists book up fast!

NEVER too Early! I used Jacqueline Nicole, who is fabulous and she books up at least a year in advance

I booked mine already! If they are popular vendors, then you should book early.
I haven't had a trial yet, and I haven't even met who is doing my hair. I know it sounds crazy.
A lady at my work referred me to a salon right near my house. They are open on Sundays and the prices where great. I guess that sold me. The lady they put me with, does tons of brides. They told me to come in and look at her books. I will go eventually!!!

I called her and she's booked for my date!

It's never too early. Good ones book fast. My trial is one week from today. with Mya. It's my hair and make up trial.

She has a site on here..Her name is actually Jenn and she runs her own business. Its best to e-mail her or FM her through LIW Do it soon though..Good Luck. Oh I have pics from my hair trial on here if you want to look..she is awesome!

I'm using my regular salon who is also a vendor on here now (salon and spa osio) and they told me I could book after christmas..
