NWR: Help for a weekend trip

Im trying to help plan a weekend trip with some friends, does anyone have suggestions where we can go that satisfies the things listed below (or at least most of them)?
TIA!!

1. a place w/ a good church nearby for all of us to attend on Sunday
2. a place that has an area for people to do free (volleyball/bball/swimming/etc.) and paid (Jet skiing/para sailing/scuba diving/snorkeling/etc) recreational activities...
3. a place that has activities for kids as some couples might have little kids
4. a hall, game room or small room that we can all hang out together at night to watch tv/play games??
5. the option for each couple to make reservations on thier own
6. a place that is 2-4 hours driving distance from manhattan.

Re: NWR: Help for a weekend trip

I would look into the Poconos or Catskills. There are many nice resorts that offer activities for both adults and children.
