my friend had a baby........

and im going to visit her today..

does anyone have any suggestions on what i can bring my friend? im sending flowers to her house because i dont want her to have to lug all of these flowers around...especiallysince she had a C-section. im sure everyone else is sending flowers there anyway...thanks!!

When my friend had a baby I got her a set of candles and and one of those book about how great mothers were. She loved it especially since everyone else got her flowers or something for the baby.

When my sil had her las son via c i went out and got her a pair of comfortable lounge pants and a confortable shirt... she was so greatful.....

I agree. I know when I had my daughter I appreciated anything they could do for ME. After, all I wanted was a home cooked meal. If you know of a favorite food or dish that she likes, make it or buy it and bring it to her. Most people know that hospital food is not that appetizing. When a baby is born, the baby becomes the center of attention and almost everyone forgets about the mother. Show her that they are both in your thoughts.

I need to know this too!!! I just got the call that my SIL is in labor, so I'm driving to SI today to see her and my brother!!! (They're both in our wedding party)

Would some spa gifts be good??

Anything for the mom is ALWAYS appreciated. My MOH has 2 babies and loves to get things for her...PJ's, candles, spa stuff...I bought her Bath & Body Works' gel foot 'slippers' that you can heat up and are aromatherapeutic...she loved it.
