Bridal shower question!

If you had your bridal shower out of state, did your FH go with you so he could make an appearance?

I had my shower in our apartment in Brooklyn and my DH didn't make an appearance. So had it been out of state, he definitely wouldn't have either.

Thanks! I didn't know if the FH is usually supposed to say hi at the end or not. He said he would come with me, but it is 8 hours to Boston.

My FH made sure he was at mine and took off of work... but it's only an hour.

Is there a chance you can do something fun in tandem with it...to make it worth it?

I had 2 Bridal Showers.

One was on LI, so DH definately didn't show up!

One was on Staten Island. It was given by his family, and I refused to drive to Staten Island by myself!

He drove me there, made an appearance and left to hang out with his male cousins. They came back at the end and helped load up all the gifts and drive me home!

Yeah, I'm thinking he can just go to a computer show or Best Buy with my dad during my shower (geeky male bonding). Or he can just hang at my house and say hi later. Or, if my FBIL wants to come to Boston too, they can go out for the day and just stop by later. I guess there are a lot of options.
