fabric, veil, headpiece, hairpins.....

CHECK!!!!!

on Saturday I went shopping for the material for my dress. I ended up buying the most beautiful light ivory silk taffeta (14 yards

) but the fabric for the embroidery ( the most beautiful beaded re-embroidery alecon lace) and basically all of the material I need to make the dress.

then, we went into a store next door and I found the PERFECT veil, headpiece and hairpins that will work with any of the hairstyles I am considering. they had to order the veil in ivory, but it's perfect.

it seems that ivory and silver DO go together, because the trimming I purchase for my dress is ivory pearls with silver, my veil is trimmed along the hemms with ivory pearls and silver, and my headpiece....you guessed it- silver with ivory pearls...

I am so happy, so POOR (

) but I really feel like it's all coming together.

I am back on the search for shoes though (have to return the gold ones

) but I dont' care....I FINALLY have an idea of what I will look like.

we even STARTED on my dress when we got home...I was already trimming and 'cleaning up' the embroidery lace!

I didn't take any pics yet b/c my fh has the digital camera and I don't want him to see. I am going to try to get someone else to take them for me, then I will post.
