Back to the Drawing Board...Invitations (UPDATE: Decision Made) - Thanks Ladies!
I was going to have custom invitations made (pic below) and the quote I got was just way too much for me to spend on invitations - $15 a piece. For 100 invitations that would be AT LEAST $1,500 - more than my flowers and DRESS!So, I'm back to the drawing board. Might have to buckle down and go through mygatsby or something - but the websites are so confusing and the colors are just so hard to see.
UPDATE:
I've decided to go the DIY route. I will replicate the invitations above, b/c they suit my color 'theme' perfectly, and don't look too hard to make. I'm going to buy all the paper and pocketfold envelopements from www.remoteassistance.com and I'll keep you ladies posted on how it all goes down!
I just wanted to say 'thank you' - Thank you to every single one of me for encouraging me and telling me 'You can do it.' Thanks again!

That is a lot. The invites I like were 12 each, and I needed 150. So as much as I like them I had to get something more modest.

Thank you for the encouragement and compliments.
I think I'm going to try a 'sample' via DIY and see if I have the talent and patience.

you definitey have the talent and skill to go the DIY route.
I am sorry things didn't work out.....I had her change the paper she was using on mine b/c they were too $$ ($10 each) she likes using very luxe materials, but usually they can be swapped for less $$ but still nice stuff. that's what I am doing.

Re: Back to the Drawing Board...Invitations
Have you thought about using MaryEllen from Scarlet Peterson? I think Hollie is using her and I contacted her when I was in invite hell. There's always DIY too, although time consuming.
Try to get a quote from here http://3paperdolls.com/ I work with the owners' friend and their work is sick and they're start up.

Re: Back to the Drawing Board...Invitations
Hi, The invitations you want I think a girl on the knot did them and gave specific instructions. I am home sick today from work and was looking all day. I ordered two samples one from www.funnybuggy.com and www.mygatsby.com. I have been on so many sites I can not remember were I say the invitations. Now that I went back and looked you posted the link to the invitations on the knot. The girls instructions seem like a lot to do, ut if you create one of the invitations and then take the rest to Kinkos or something it might work. I am going to wait to see what my samples look like and then decide if I am going to use them. You can go to www.thedreamgardens.com they have great stuff also, and they work with your budget.I will update you when I get my samples. I ordered 5*7 and a 7*7

You got it right Sasha! I am using Maryellen! Chris, I can give you her info if you want.
I am sure that you can create something... I can even try to help, although I have not one creative bone in my body!

I love pocket folds - but they were way out of my budget.DId you order a sample from mygatsby? It comes with three packages of color samples so you can play around with what you like. I found directions for DIY pocketfolds online - I can see if I still have them. You have enough time to make them yourself if you recruit some help.

I too was excited about pocketfolds until I saw the pricetag$ on some of them. I'm actually considering making my own pocketfolds but I have a feeling that one Saturday afternoon will be enough to cure me of that kind of crazy.

FYI, I was just on: CJ Paper and was looking at their envelopes. I'm thinking they might have some items to spur some new ideas?
