debating wedding makeup stuff....need opinions!!

I don't wear a ton of makeup....my staples are an eyelash curler, mascara and lip gloss....I have been debating if I should get my makeup done professionally or just do it myself. I guess what I am afraid of is totally not looking myself. does anyone feel this way too??? I also think I'd be too nervous about doing my own makeup......any suggestions??

get it done - it makes you feel beautiful and it's the last thing you want to have to worry about doing yourself on your big day.

I think that since you do not wear a lot of make-up, tell the make up artist to give you a natural look. Your makeup has to be heaver than you normally wear it so that it shows up in the pictures, but it does not have to be overdone.

Get it done. I agree. Just tell who ever you try just that you want a natural look. just remember it does need to be a little more than usual so it shows in pictures.

Have a makeup trial and stress that you want a natural look. Take some pictures afterwards. Then, do your makeup yourself and take some pictures. Compare the two and decide for yourself which look you like better.

i'm someone that doesn't wear makeup. the make up artist made me look natural looking

get a trail done early and wear it for most of the day and see how it feels 5 hours later. Just let the make-up artist know what you want. I went with Oksana's assistant (Oksana not avail on my day) Jessica and she understood that I wanted a hollywood classic look without the cake-y/drag queen look. She gave me what I wanted. My MOH is having her trail in a few weeks.

I would go for a trail and see how you like it.. you have nothing to lose by going for a couple of trail runs..

All my firends dont wear make-up and did very natual looks and they looked amazing and like them selves
