Good place to get moving boxes?

Any ideas? I'm going to hit the supermarkets of course, but is there anyplace else that I can get boxes from? Anyplace online that has good deals?

I use the file boxes from Staples. They are a good size - so you don't make them too heavy - and they have handles.

If you need really heavy duty ones try liquor stores for free boxes and a U-haul center if you want to buy them.

I bought at a storage place ... UPS stores sell bundles as well.

Does your job order from Staples or anyplace like that? My work collects all the boxes and puts them out for recycling, so when we moved I went to the loading dock and collected all the Staples boxes that came with copy paper in them. Very sturdy. I also get ones from liquor stores--they are very sturdy from the bottles.

When's the move?

We haven't set a move date yet but the realtor is coming over today to look at our townhouse. And we got pre-approved for $XX for that house that we love in Colorado!!!

I just need to start hoarding boxes soon. Ugh, I hate packing!

I second stealignf rom work. Whenwe moved DH took a lot of boxes from work. Montors & computers coem in ncie big boxes.

The time before that we bought soem in oficce max. If you ahve soemthing weird-shaped, the moving company may have a box for it.

Also, there is a box store by my job we use for weird size things at work. You may be able to find one in your local yellow pages.

I don't know, but I did hear they were owned by some guy who won the lottery pretty young.

we got ours from the supermarket around 10pm they told us to come b/c that is when they unload, also we got from liquor stores

Also check Craigslist in the free section. People often offer their boxes for you to come pick them up... click on the Long Island tab on the top...

Craigslist has sites for many locations - just look for the closest metro area in the columns on the right!

I always liked the egg boxes from the supermarket because they have handles.

We got ours from U-Haul. Whatever you don't use they will buy back.
