Re: Out of Town Guest Dinner Question

We're not having an OOT Guest Dinner, but will invite them to our Rehersal Dinner. Reason being is most of the OOT Guest are our family & BP. The two couples that are not have been a huge help and just want to thank them by inviting them to dinner.

Re: Out of Town Guest Dinner Question

We are having an OOT guest brunch at the hotel the morning after the wedding. Everyone at the hotel and our families and BP are invited.

Re: Out of Town Guest Dinner Question

I have been part of a wedding, and a guest at a few weddings where there was a 'get together' after the rehearsal dinner. This gives an opportunity for the guests to meet at one place and possibly see the bride and groom before the nuptuals. It can happen where the rehearsal dinner is, or in the hotel where OOT guests are.

We are doing this the night before the wedding, but making it clear that we do not plan on being there too long. This gives our guests the chance to possibly talk with us briefly without it being stuffy. Plus, we don't have to pay for everyones dinner. It's an informal get together.

Re: Out of Town Guest Dinner Question

I would invite all of the OOT and the bridal party with a guest. Anyone that made an effort to travel for your wedding should be invited. I also invited family memebers i felt close to.

we are having our RD at the OOT hotel, since FH's family and half of our bridal party is OOT. Afterwards we are having some appetizers/desserts etc for all of the OOTers to mingle and hang out at the hotel. We are expecting that to mainly be FH's extended family although all are welcome.

Re: Out of Town Guest Dinner Question

Are you talking about a rehearsal dinner? We are only having parents, g-parents and bridal party. (We have 100+ OOT guests.)

Re: Out of Town Guest Dinner Question

We have over 100+ people from OOT too. I am hoping to have Rehearsal Dinner with Bridal party and others that need to be there and then telling guests to come for drinks afterwards. OR something like that.
