This is an IQ test given to job applicants in Japan. (Click on link
then
click on blue circle.)

'Everybody has to cross the river'

The following rules apply:

*
Only 2 persons on the raft at a time.
*
The father can not stay with any of the daughters without their
mother's
presence.
*
The mother can not stay with any of the sons without their
father's
presence.
*
The thief (striped shirt) can not stay with any family member if
the
Policeman is not there.
*
Only the Father, the Mother and the Policeman know how to operate
the
raft. link is at the bottom of instructions.

To move the people click on them.

To move the raft click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.

i understand the conept and got the policeman and thief across but the raft is stuck on the other side.

ETA: screw the game, i think the family should run like H E L L now that the thief is on the other side.

OMG..after writing the last post,I just went back and got the kid across without even thinking. I think the trick is to look away and go back to the scene so it looks fresh and also,try NOT to think it through,too much.

But I got to tell ya, all that river rafting just so that they get across to do some exercises, some 'quasi-wave'
