Are we the only two on this whole website?It's ssuch a gorgeous place, I am suprised more people haven't booked there!(Makes me a little nervous)I've had a good experience with them so far, but many people have said that they found the people there have attitudes... I didn't find it that way at all. Anything special I should know?Definately keep me posted, you're wedding is much closer than mine....

I do believe that there are more of us, but since the Crescent got a bad rap a few months back I think brides are reluctant to say!! I 've had no problems, they have been great with everything. I mean I went to take pictures for my florist & photog so they have an idea of what I wanted done and where, both Bill & Art were great about it. I can't wait, so can't all our guests! We've had nothing but raves already from people that have been to occasions there and ours isn't until Oct!!! So no problems here. Question....who are you using as a florist??? I'm having a problem. So any ideas are welcomed. Thanks!!

I'm assuming you are from LI, but I live in brooklyn, so i'm not sure any advice I give you will be helpful.. but I'm actually using two florists. For the centerpieces and small arrangements for the coctail tables and bathrooms I'm using Diana Gould Ltd. in LI( actually based in Westchester), and for the Church flowers, boutennaires, and bouquets, I'm using Imperial Florists in Brooklyn..(they come highly recommended from the girls at work...) At Imperial, they really impressed me even at my intial phonecall, they told me to bring pictures of what I wanted, so they could 'get inside my head'--that is exactly what I was looking for, since I know specificly what I want.. My theory on florists is --as long as they are reliable, Anyone can give you what you want...(flowers are flowers, really)..if they listen to you--whoever they are-- they should be able to satisfy you...what kind of problem are you having?.. P.S. thanks for the Oriental trading.com website--very helpful.... always keep me posted....
