Church Decorations

A question for the ladies who were married in a church, did you decorate the church?
Did you use flowers or just bows?
Did you leave them there after the ceremony or did someone take them?
What about the runner?

I am getting married the day before Father’s day, so I don’t think the church will be decorated like it is for the holidays or Easter.
Any cost-effective suggestions are appreciated.

We did flowers on the pews and 2 alter arrangements. My aunt collected them after the ceremony.

We're just doing pew bows. I bought the bows at Michael's and then bought some silk flowers that I glued on to the top of the bows and vines to hang down from the bottom of the bows. Sorry, I don't have any pictures, but it was relatively inexpensive compared to the cost of pew bows at the florist.

We had one arrangement on the altar and our pew bows were made out of flowers...my florist took all the flowers and used them at the reception hall (in addition to our CPs)...she put the pew bows on the dock at CLM (where we came in by boat, they were agreat touch). I think the altar arrangement was in front of our table...

What we're planning on doing:

getting 20 pew bows with two roses on each bow.

aisle runner - provided by the limo company and i'm sure they're going to gather it at the end.

as far as the res tof the church decor, we're two weeks after Easter, so fortunately there will be flowers already.

I'm leaving the pew bows and roses there, donating them to the church.

We are doing flowesr and bows. And 2 alter arrangements. We are taking the 2 alter arrangements with us.
