Friday, Saturday or Sunday???

What day are you getting married and why?

Sunday for me. Our first date was on a Sunday, we became exclusive on a Sunday and YES it was cheaper!!!

and jews can't get married on fridays because it's shabbat.

Sunday! It was less expensive and monday is a holiday! So sorta like a Saturday because no one has to work the next day! But way cheaper by about $30 per person!!! To have it on Saturday would have cost us $6000 more!

Saturday.. No one has to worry about getting home to go to work the next day... No other reason really.

to me, saturday night weddings are the easiest, most don't have to take off, and most can stay over without adjusting their schedules as much.

We wanted a Saturday Night Wedding more than it mattered what time of year. So, winter was the cheapest for that time

Saturday night- why? because my Dad is paying for it- and most of my freinds live in NYC so for them to get out to suffolk on a friday is tough-

if I had to pay for it myself- I can't say it would be a Saturday!

Saturday everyone is off the next day and doesnt have to worry about work. Plus my dad hates when he's invited to weddings and he has work the next day

Friday night. Less expensive, people will love to take off from work and have a three and in my case 4 day weekend!

Sweet, I am keeping the bar at the hotel open until 4 am for the 'after party', Imagine doing that on a Sunday night

Saturday, easy for all my OOT guests, which is my entire side of the family! If I could have had a Sunday wedding, it would be Sunday afternoon at Russo's on the bay. We didn't have enough people to make the Sat night minimum. But, I do love JT, and I wanted an evening wedding, so this is good!

ditto! - actually we wanted to get married during the day so we figured our sunday actually falls right in the middle of the 3 day weekend
