I am a high school English Literacy Coach and I need your help...

I have to plan a ton of PDs on writing accross the content areas. I have some knowledge of this material but not enough to plan over 20 PD sessions.

What types of PDs have you had about contant area writing? What types of writing do you do in class beyond note taking, essays and graphic organizers? I would love to speak with some of you and pick your very talented minds!

My region is focused on writing in the content areas too (Region 1). I haven't done any PD yet (I'm a middle school coach) but I am sure I will have to at some point.

The only thing I can think of that would be high school appropriate might be historical fiction, which would require them to do research while also developing a fictional story.
