2nd year anniversary (1st year since the wedding) and NO plans .... lame?

Some of you know. Jim and I were married in civil court in 2003 on the same date as my wedding.

So for our 1 year anniversary we got married! and had a honeymoon. Seems like an awesome 1 year anniversary to me!

Now we are coming up on my anniversary again, but Jim really wanted this car so he got it. In the end, its going to have cost us nearly $4500 for this car. Leaving no money for my anniversary.

I can't even drive this car because it has lambo doors (those that open UP vertically) and the doors are heavy and it's stick (which I can relearn easy enough) and its EXTRA low to the ground and with the winter round the corner it won't be run.

So i look at him a little disappointed. I wanted to do SOMETHING anything even if it's our old fashioned 'get away' to the Palisades Mall for a weekend (we used to do that when we dated and wanted 'alone' time). Now.. nothing.

Best I'm gonna get is dinner out. *sigh* Worse I have an algebra/trig exam that day

MAN we are old!

Somehow Im disappointed but not upset. *shrug* I've got a great hubby, a good job, Im healthy and I've got a cute little kitten in our lives now and a big cat who needs our love and attention.

Lame?

I dunno, but I can only say this... I BETTER GET ROSES!
haha

Not lame... its life.
Go out to dinner and enjoy your roses and get him a mushy card and write lots of sweet nothings in it and read it together. Run a warm bubble bath... there are plenty of things to do inside to celebrate.
