Should I change the time??

I had scheduled our e-pics to be taken at 4pm the first week of November. The problem is, I just checked and the sun sets at 4:45 at that time!!!

I was hesitant to make it earlier because of having to take off early from work for both of us. Should the timing be a factor, or will it not matter since we will still technically have 45 minutes of daylight to work with?

TIA

oooh thats tough, in one sense, you will only have 45 minutes...but your pictures will be beautiful with the sun setting

Re: Should I change the time??

I am a psycho about pics with the sun setting. (I am a photog myself and are best known for my sunsets) I love them! But, you don't have 45 minutes of sunlight. The best 'light' for getting a sunset is approximately 15 minutes-5 minutes before it sets. 20 minutes before you start losing light.

Depends on what you are looking for. Will the photog have lights? Then you have much more with which to work. If the photog doesn't have lights, I'd look at another time. People and sunsets are difficult without lighting.

Re: Should I change the time??

That makes more sense. Do they have to be outdoors? You never know what the weather is doing.

Re: Should I change the time??

I would make it for 3:30 - gives you more time to play with.
