Florist Quotes

I was just wondering if this price quote is appropriate for what we are getting..$3650 for:
22 centerpieces
1 Bridal Bouquet
1 MOH bouquet
5 bridesmaids bouquets
1 groom boutanierre
5 groomsmen boutanierre
6 parent/grandparent coursages/boutanierre
1 church reader coursage and 1 church reader boutanierre
2 big floral arrangements for church
6 bouquets for church pews
Flowers for cake

That seems VERY high if you ask me. I went to 5 different florists and got quotes for a package that was similar and the highest I was quoted was $2,000. The only difference was that I am using rose pedals rather than a floral arrangement. I was quoted for both with flowers and only rose pedals and the one with flowers didnt come close to that much.

I think it really depends on the type of flowers you are getting and the number of flowers in each centerpiece. Based on the florists I've seen, I think it is a reasonable quote.

Thanks for the responses. The centerpieces are 3 dozen roses with other flowers also (haven't really decided yet). Thanks again!

can you ask them to itemize it for you?? it is easier to compare with other florist prices when you know how much each item is!

I think for all you're getting it's normal.

Mine was about $2500 for 13 centerpieces..

and my personal flowers, (eg. my bouquet, and bridesmaids and corsages,etc.) was $750...the rest of the $ went towards centerpieces plus you're decorating the church... I would say it's sounds OK.
