Bourne Mansion Brides - Day of Question
Ok - so I'm starting to lose it - 10 days to go.Do any of you know who i get the itinerary for the day of? I thought my band would provide it but the told me the Bourne Mansion staff will.
Does this not seem weird? I'm looking for things like when do we get announced? What time is the cake cut, When is the father/daughter dance?
Any past Bourne brides to give me advice? Did you just tell your Band/DJ when you'd like it to happen and or work with Ben from Bourne Mansion to set it up? Or was there already like a set schedule that you were provided with?
I'm so confused...

Re: Bourne Mansion Brides - Day of Question
you get the schedule from Steve or isiais - who ever is your maitre'd - isias was mine and he was great - much more flexible then stevebut for the timing- Steve arranges it all - he has his way that he likes it be done -
so get your mairtre'd name from Ben - they are who takeover at the end

Re: Bourne Mansion Brides - Day of Question
have some idea of when you want to do things - coursessteve wants the first course down when you come in from the cocktail hour - i made them serve it- i had the combo course - but food down is a pet peeve of mine - so it can be fine for you
dealing with steve can be frustrating at times - just make sure you get what you want and if you don't talk to ben

Re: Bourne Mansion Brides - Day of Question
I had Steve and thought he was GREAT!! I met with him the week of the wedding to go over everything. I was stressing out about it too, but once you meet with him, it will be fine. Remember - it;s their job and they know what they are doing!! Here is a sample of what my time line was (I think!!)6-7:30pm - cocktail hour
7:15 BP goes up to the bridal suite to get ready for entrance into the ballroom
7:30 - staff directs everyone into ball room
7:40 - BP enters the ball room.
After that we had our first dance and a second and invited everyone to join.
I think dinner was served around 9pm
Cake cutting and father/daughter dance was at 10:30, and the cake and chocolate fountain was served at 11. And then teh dance floor was opened up again until midnight.
I think that's how it was. If you need more specifics, FM me. Youa re going to have the BEST time ever!!!

I didn't - I love the chivari chairs they provide. I forget who they use for linens - ask ben - it's somewhere in Garden City - I went to check out naplins and sashes. They were nice, but a little pricey.

We had Steve at Timber Point and I totally agree. He was fantastic. We also had the same timeline. We were enjoying ourselves so much and were unaware of time at all, so Steve kept us moving along. My DH is ex military and thought Steve was excellent.
