OMG! I can't believe this! Long

I called Phyllis Limmer today to find out if my BM's dresses had come in. She tells me that 2 out of the 3 did, the third one they had the wrong size (they were going to send a size 2, but it should've been a 20, big oops). So, I made arrangements to go and pick them up at 4:30 today. I got there and when she brought them out, I thought they looked weird, but I figured I'd bring them home and compair them to the swatch I had. I thought it might have just been the lighting. My gas tank was on E and I wasn't sure I was even going to make to a gas station. I was prepared to stall on the side of the parkway. I made it to a station and while waiting I looked at the tag on one of the dresses. It said M1605 L 8 ( M 1605 is the style #) I figured the 8 was the size, so what was the L?? On the tag was a picture of the dress and a color key (A=color B=color C=color, etc). So, I looked inside the dress at the tag, and low and behold, it said color=L. So back to the color key, just to see that L stood for Lilac. Ok, makes sense, except for the fact that I ordered the dresses in Lavender. I knew it didn't look right. I got home and checked the other dress and it was also wrong (color Lilac) but I also noticed that it was supposed to be a size 14 and they sent a size 16. OMG!!! I was fit to be tied. So I called Phyllis and told her what happend. On my receipt it says dress sizes 8, 14, and 20 all in Lavender. Phyllis said that same info was on her copy. She then checked the copy from when the order was placed with the manufacturer and she said that it had Lavender, but it was crossed out and Lilac was written in. WHY??? That's not what I ordered. She called the manufacturer and then called me back and said that they were looking into what happend and she'd call me when she heard something. So, now it's 6 1/2 weeks until my wedding and none of my girls have a dress (except FG). The manufacturer had better fix this mix up!!! I have a receipt with the correct information. I want the correct dresses RUSHED, without any additional expense to me. I ordered the right thing, if the order got messed up, it wasn't by me, so I'm not being penilized (sp?). AAAAAHHHHHHHH of all the things to go wrong 6 weeks before, why this???? I'm so upset, and p-o'ed right now. Sorry so long, had to vent. ~~Kim

!!! You poor thing. I hope she gets back to you tomorrow with an answer! Phyllis obviously knows its either an error on her side or the manufacturer b/c you both have the same copies. You won't get penalized but I'd be p-o-ed too and I'd want an answer ASAP!

My BM dresses on regular shipping came in in 4 weeks, you should be fine.

maybe you want to think about a back up plan in case this place does not come thru for you....however, it seems like dress places can make miracles happen in terms of ordering....a friend of mine ordered her gown 2 months before her wedding and it was perfect!
