Looking for a new Restaurant in Nassau!!!
Some place romantic with great food. Here are some of my favorites to give you some idea of what I like:Waterzooi, Rialto, Westbury Manor (great food), Galleria, Benny's to name a few in my area that I love.
Dh and I are going out to dinner on Saturday and I wanted to go somewhere different. Anyone have any ideas???

I love Stresa East in Woodbury. They also have one in Manhasset. I love this restaurant. We went Friday night and I loved the biscotti so much the manager gave me some to take home! I highly recommend the veal chop, the sirloin of any of their fresh fish specialties. Of course the pasta is outrageous. DH had Zabaglione for dessert and I had the chocolate cake (flourless).

Our absolute favorite...West End Cafe.
It's located on Glen Cove Rd. in the shopping plaza where AC Moore is located. You wouldn't think a restaurant located in a shopping plaza would be good, it's not...it's INCREDIBLE!!!! I love that it's tucked away...a secret romantic DELICIOUS food resturant.

I second Ivy Cottage...Oh soooooo good.. My DH happens to now the Owner/ Chef for years. The food is amazing...and the desserts are to die for all made in house by the owners wife. It is a small place so Make sure you make reservations though they get busy on Sat nights.
