I HATE the post office! And John is a saint.

I sent all my final payments to my vendors via certified mail, thinking it was safer than a plain old stamp.

The post office track and confirm thingy said that they left a note for them to pick up the check at the PO. John says they didnt leave the note, and I believe him- who would NOT want to get paid? What the hell! Damned post office.

So I faxed John my portion of the receipt, and I hope if he takes that to the PO, they will give him the check. I tried calling the Po branch I sent the check from, but i get a voice mail saying that no one is available to take my call.

I am going to the PO and make sure John can pick up my check with the receipt i faxed him.

AND THE MAN IS SAINT for not freaking out about where his money is. the worst case scenario is that I have to cancel the original one and overnight him another one.

But I HATE THE PO!

i went to pay my florsit and they had CLOSED signs all over.....so atleast you know you're GETTING FLOWERS and you have a RELIABLE and RESPECTABLE company you are dealing with.......... i hope it all works out....not like you need added stress right now!

Rebecca I know how you feel, I sent a check to Duet over a week before our wedding and they didnt get it on time... so I had to go and get a bank certified check a day before the wedding, stop payment on our check... like we dont have enough to do before the wedding right? breathe

Sorry, but just wanted to say I was driving on Astoria Blvd yesterday and I saw your hall. I said hey, I 'know' someone getting married there. But it is a beautiful hall on the outside as I am sure inside. The outside looks like your pulling up to a movie premier in LA. Beautiful and Good Luck!!
