Having a hard time picking a dress

Did you know when you found the 'one'? I have about 3 dresses that I like, none that made me cry or be emotional.

I have tried on about 45 dresses.

Re: Having a hard time picking a dress

I tried on 5. The last one I tried on - I smiled and knew that was it. Did any of them hit you?

Re: Having a hard time picking a dress

my dress was the easiest decision i've made so far. i saw it hanging up and knew i had to try it on. i purposely tried it on last. i still went to 3 places after i saw it (5 total). i knew it was the one because i coudn't stop thinking about it and i wasn't as excited anymore trying on other dresses...

i would go back on see the 3 you liked again....one of them must be the one...

The same thing happened to me and I didn't want to settle on a dress that I thought was just OK.

I kept looking and did fall in love with one dress. I realized it when I kept trying on other dresses but I wanted them all to look more like 'the one' and when I went back to put it on a second time, I knew.

It's big decision. Keep looking.

Re: Having a hard time picking a dress

I never had that emotional moment, but I am not that emotional when it comes to this wedding stuff. I narrowed it down to three dresses and brought my Mom, MOH, FMIL, and 2 BM to help me make the decision.

You do smile when you finally pick the one

It took me along time to pick one. Keep looking!!

Re: Having a hard time picking a dress

I really did not like going wedding dress shopping and did it alone the first few times. I really felt like I would never find the one either. I finally found my dress when I my mom and two friends went shopping with me. As soon as I tried it on, I knew. I didn't cry or anything but I knew. I couldn't stop smiling and I was prancing around the store like a crazy person!

Re: Having a hard time picking a dress

I am not one to get emotional either. I thought dress shopping would be fun and it wasn't. Nothing felt like 'the one'. Then my sister found this dress and told me to try it on. My sister, mom and grandma loved it. I thought it was nice. Every time I went to a dress store that dress popped out at me. I tried it on again at the bridal store and it was a busy day there. Every one there complimented the gown and told me that was 'the one' I figured how could all these people be wrong.
Go back and see what dress feels the most comfortable. Also see what dress out of the three you get excited to see. Good Luck!!

Re: Having a hard time picking a dress

My sister tried on at least 100 dresses in 7-8 different bridal salons. She was getting ready to 'settle' on something when I convinced her to go to one more store. When she started crying we both knew it was the one for her. My sister is not an emotional person, and she hates dresses. She was convinced she wouldn't find anything because she was uncomfortable just trying them on. But she did, and she looked absolutely stunning.

Your dress is out there, and you will find it. Just keep looking.
