Repost from BHB: Need your opinions, 1 week before my wedding

I'm getting ready at home with 2 of my BM's. the limo is picking us up at home and then we're picking up my FH and the groomsmen at the hotel and we're being dropped off at the hall. the photographer is meeting us at the hall 3 hours before our ceremony starts so we have plenty of time for pics.

my dilemma is this.... should I put my dress on at home or at the hall?

when I picked up my dress today, my seamstress seemed very surprised that my FH will see me for the 1st time in the dress sitting in the limo. Honestly, I never gave it a 2nd thought until she mentioned that it would be so much better if he saw me dressed at the hall.

another option is that FH and the men meet us at the hall and I make my 'grand' entrance getting out of the limo.

since the photographer is meeting us at the hall anyway, what would you do?

I would have FH still meet you at the hall. Get dressed at the hall ( do everything else first, just the dress) and then make your grand entrance at the hall. It makes for great photos. You want good ones of Fh's face seeing you. IMO walking out of the limo is not the best backdrop. You will be all crunched up and then get out and have to adjust. At the hall you can walk out all perfect. Why don't you call the photog and ask his opinon. He is the expert on all of those situaitons.
