Place Card Question

So, we've had a number of people who were invited with a guest to rsvp saying:

Mr. John Doe and Guest

No name of their guest. I'm trying to do everything 'proper' is okay to put that on the place card, or should I try to find out the name of the person they are bringing? OR another possibilty could very well be that I'm being too a n a l???????

Re: Place Card Question

with the amount of guests you have, you should just put 'and guest'

Re: Place Card Question

If I can not find out the name of the guest, then I have no choice but to put guest.

Re: Place Card Question

I put & guest because people didn't really know who they were bringing...unfortunately for me I found out after I gave my numbers that 3 people aren't bringing the guests they originally rsvp with.
