crazy coworkers-- wedding related..

Yesterday I was at work and I was typing away when one of the sales people at my job came up to my desk.. she's like oh hey you're gonna love this...

she hands me this magazine People or something. On the cover she typed out a line or two, printed cut and pasted it on to the cover as if it was a headline.

It read, 'Was xxx's engagement ring given to her from someone here in the office????'

I turn and look at her (she's in her mid to late 50s) I pointed to a picture of my fiance and I on my desk and said does that look liek so-and-so our co worker? I'm like geez you're very creative don't you guys have anything better to do over there?
Moral of the story: You can't have friends of the opposite sex at work with out people thinking otherwise......

I know! But mind you i've been engaged for 6 months and none of them had the nerve to ask me. She was the 'spokesperson' She told me they talk about it every Monday when they are in the office b/c they always see my friend (male) and I going to lunch..

geez get your own lives!

We had this lady in our office like that- she always listened to our conversations, invaded personal (or cubicle!) space, and smelled like she hadn't washed her hair in 6 months!! She was extremely nosy, to the point where she would randomly come up to you and ask you something about a convo you had w/ someone else!!! Ewww MYOB!!!!
