Hey Jericho Terrace Brides...

What hotel are you staying at the night of your wedding? Garden City hotel is gorgeous but I can't imagine spending $500 for a few hours of sleep. Any suggestions??? TIA!

Wingate Inn (on Stewart Ave)

I'm looking into them. Did you book the bridal suite, jr bridal suite, or just a guest suite?

I am considering the Wingate as well, since I blocked my guests rooms there too!

We booked the Bridal Suite. We went and viewed both that and the junior and for like $30 extra the bridal is much bigger. I think we're paying something like $240 for the bridal suite.

Re: Hey Jericho Terrace Brides...

You guys are getting awesome prices for the wingate. When I called to see if the bridal suite was still available on my date they said it was $330 for the night. You think I can negotiate?

I don't know if you can negotiate. I just looked at my contract with them, and I'm paying $329 a night for the Grand Bridal Suite. The Junior Suite is probably less money.

It's still a lot better than paying $499 for a regular room at the Garden City Hotel!!

I heard some people were getting good rates at the Marriott in Uniondale, the only thing is if you block rooms you have to guarantee at least 10. Wingate said we could block 5. (We blocked 10 anyway since we need to)

I tried to get rats for the Marriott in Uniondale but I checked online and there are no rooms available for my day. Maybe I'll call them directly. I agree, $330 isn't bad for the grand suite. I'm going to check out the room tonight with FH.
