Back from my 1st anniversay trip to Cabo San Lucas (mini review)
What an amazing place!!! We had so much fun!The weather was perfect! Not a cloud in the sky for 6 days. It was usually between 90 -85 degrees, with a dry heat and a constant breeze.
We stayed at the Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos. It was such a beautiful place with great service and reasonably priced.
It's about 10 minutes cab ride into town. We preferred it that way. During the day we had a private beach with no vendors, but could go into town if we wanted beach activities and fun and good food at night!!
Places to note:
The Office: A fun beach restaurant where you can eat with your feet in the sand. Thursdays and Sunday's are 'Mexican Party' night. Tequila shooters and entertainment (fun!!) We went on a Thursday, but there are more mellow nights like Friday which is Jazz, etc.
Nikki Beach: Hotel bar at the Melia San Lucas (we walked from The Office). They have beds for a seating area
Da Giorgios: Beautiful restaurant that has a cliff like feel (several levels with just a few tables on each - all outside) where you can have a romantic dinner and watch the sunset over the mountains.
The Trailer Park (downtown) - what a cute authentic place tucked away in a somewhat shady part of time, but worth the trip and the food was fabulous and the margaritas where strong!!!
We also enjoyed Mi Casa (Mexican) and La Dolce (Italian) for dinner.
The Marina: Lots to do here. Mainly little shops and happy hour type places right on the marina (not good for sunsets though, since the mountains block the view, but still beautiful). There is also a mall near the marina with chain type restaurants (Ruth Chris, Houlihans, Hard Rock, Johnny Rockets, etc.)
We took a glass bottom boat water taxi ride to The Arch and Lover's beach - the views were breath taking...
Just a few blocks from the marina are all the well known bars:
El Squid Roe...lots of fun and rowdy type open air restaurant/bar type place. Similar to a Carlos and Charlies
The Gigglin Marlin...an indoor bar/grill with lots of couples contests, etc
Cabo Wabo....live music & dj alternate bar/restaurant (this was my favorite and we frequented it often!!)
Any questions...let me know! I'll try to post pics soon!

We went to Cabo on our HM. We stayed at Dreams in Los Cabos. We loved it
. We'll definitely go back in a few years.
