Repost from o6 board...DJ Questions??
We are going to meet with DJ's this week and I would like your opinions as to what to ask them? Anything in particular you can think of would be great! TIA

I would ask them about the kind of equipment they use and if they bring back up just in case. A DJ also mentioned to us something about making sure the Dj has liability insurance up to a certain amount. Ask who the Dj & MC will be... ask to see videos of their work and just make sure you like them and are on the same wave length as far as song choice and style.

Thanks for posting this topic.... And thanks for the great advice too!!
I visited with one DJ so far and I didn't see a video of their work... But they were highly recommended by several people. One friend even told me the emcee I should request.
But for today I am just going on the recommendation of my catering hall, so I will ask to see a video.
