Well, my girls, worry no more. I just bought these Lenox flutes that replicate the Swarovski version for $50.00-ON SALE at Macys. Sure the crystals are NOT swarovski, but they do shine!
Original price is $78.00. Just to let you know that this is an exclusive from Macys.. you wont find these anyplace else. They are called Lenox Jubilee Toasting Flutes.
Another thing to cross of my list!!

I had seen people on here talk about them but never saw them in person until my wedding when someone gave them as a gift and when I opened them I was amazed, they are simply gorgeous and totally worth every penny they shine like diamonds

Re: Do you like the Swarovski flutes, but feel that spending $298 for them is alot of money?
I am so glad that you found such nice ones even though they look hauntingly familiar to the original swarovski ones hehe!
I just did research for another bride on this site and found 9 places where you can get the original ones for a discount too with the certificate of authenticity and swan signature too. As long as everyone is happy, that's all that matters.I am not in any way trying to offend anyone but I am just offering other solutions too. I collect Swarovski jewelry from the same company and have been able to get 30-80% off of retail on all of my pieces. Just a thought!
Here is a pic of the Swarovski ones I found on a wholesale site. I love your Macys/Lenox too!

That was very smart of Lenox being that the other ones were very popular..but a bit too expensive
I've always really liked them too!

Re: Do you like the Swarovski flutes, but feel that spending $298 for them is alot of money?
Well you have to do some digging because not all of the wholesale places have authentic pieces and just buy certificates off of ebay - so you need to make sure they are real because one of my friends figured this out when she ordered the 'fake' ones online!!! ETA: They looked horrible so you can only buy from sites that Swarovski dealers and collectors have approved to be safe.Be careful though because Swarovski is trademarked. I can't believe that Lenox was able to copy them so similarly without changing some elements! How do they really stack up in person? I'll have to go look for myself and then I'll update ya hehe.
Anyway, it depends on how much off of retail you want. I saw some on ebay for as little as $70 or up to $239 buy it now with the original swan stamping, plus I researched 7 websites that have it for at least $40-80 off of retail. Just FM me if you want more info. I really think that the Swarovski ones look like diamond dust in the stem and are WELL WORTH the extra $.
You could always put whichever ones you get in a china cabinet to display or somewhere since they sparkle so much. Good luck!

I bought the Lenox ones this weekend too!! What makes the Swarovski flutes so beautiful is the crystal bottom (which the Lenox flutes do not have), but I could not imagie spending that much on glasses!! The Lenox flutes are a great alternative!

Just FYI - Costco has the Swarovski flutes for $209.99 - That's where I got mine from. Not cheap, but a pretty big savings. Here's the link:http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?prodid=11000724&whse=&topnav=&cat=&s=1They have them in the store too if you don't want to pay shipping!!!
