Engagement pic question

What do you do with them? haha
It came with our package and we are getting one to put up for the reception, but is there a specific purpose? Everyone keeps asking me ans I have no idea! thanks ladies!

We used one for our Save The Date magnets and we put some in frames.

We are having a pic on our invites and using one of our epics. Otherwise you can use them for a sign in board, at the reception, or save the dates. But they also make great gifts for parents and grandparents!

I'm getting married at The Douglaston Manor.
My engagement picture is part of the package too. I think the purpose is to use it as annoucement for the newspaper. If that's what your family does. I wondered too.

We are going to use it as a keep sake and we will put it up at the reception. We will also put the pic and a small blurb in the paper.

I put the proofs in a photo album. We will blow some up when we have an apartment together and hang them up.

Our proofs were free, but we ordered some pics for our parents & some wallets & we put up a pic picture at our e-party & we're using one pic for our STD

I wanted to have pictures of us that WERE NOT wedding pictures which is why I got e-pics. Id rather see what I look like on a more day to day basis than see wedding pictures covering my whole house. We plan on having maybe 3 or four wedding pictures TOPS on display in out home - one in our bedroom and two out in the living room area. Other than that, its enough.

you can buy them but you dont have to...we haven't taken ours yet but we figured if we liked them, maybe we would display them or something at the reception.

Thanks Ladies, I figured all of these options, I just didn't know if there was really some type of story behind them!
We have decided to gove them as xmas gifts in nice frames to the family and we will blow up a few for the apartment, and maybe a copy for some DIYs...thnaks for the help!
