Absolutely!! The opportunity to spend those extra minutes with FH (now DH) in order to cherish our first time seeing each other was priceless. There was no rush to go down the aisle--we could just sit and stare for a while & truly enjoy each other's company. Plus.....we got to enjoy a heavenly cocktail hour at Land's End!! One can't ask for better food than what we had for our cocktail hour----my MOH made sure she followed me around with a full plate while we mingled with our guests. DEFINITELY recommend pictures before!!!

Re: For those who took pics before the ceremony...(REPOST from bhb)

I'm so glad we took pics before the ceremony. We were able to capture our moment of seeing each other for the first time and it wasn't in front of everyone. Seeing DH before the ceremony made me calmer and I was glad I could spend the entire day with him. If we didn't take pics before, we would've missed our entire cocktail hour (as would our family and BP), and we never would've gotten all the pics we took if we only had the cocktail hour to take them. I also wouldn't have wanted to miss the reception to take additional pics.

ETA: I felt like I could enjoy the day more b/c I wasn't worried about pics we still had to take or getting everyone together to take the pics.
