REPOST from BHB - Postage increase - its official

FH sent this to me this morning. The 2-cent increase doesnt effect my invites, rather the responses as the invites are going out on the 12th of December and the responses are due back on the 18th of January. When I find out the release dates of the stamps, I'll let you all know. I dont think they will be out before my invites go out.

Its weird. The increase doesnt bother me. Extra stamps on my responses bother me. I am going to put a 60 cent stamp on the inside unless pretty 39 cent stamps come out before December 12. My peace of mind and happiness is worth more. I am weird that way.

Oh how wonderful! My invitations are going out on 1/2! I guess that is good that they won't get caught in limbo then!

I am not sure what to do either....any Grace Period? It would be nice if they could come out with the 39 center ASAP! I am stuck right in the middle, as my RSVP is 1/20

We figured the cost differential between a 39 cent stamp and a 60 cent stamp to be approximately $31.50 (give or take) on 150 invitations. Its just a preference. Maybe I'll will be lucky and the stamps will come out before I need to mail them.

this stinks. I plan on buying stamps tomorrow. i might have to buy the .60 for both too! AH! My response back is due the 10th of jan.

My sister spoke to a post master the other day. The letter stamps will come out first but nothing will be in place for us early 06ers (that we would consider for an invite) that would be pretty enough. Sorry ladies.
