Fox Hollow Brides

Which room did you use at Fox Hollow? I was there this weekend and the guy told me that I could only fit everybody into their hugest ballroom, but the reason I went their in the first place was because I fell in love with the pictures of the Winter Garden on their website...

So, which room did you use/are you using, and about how many people are you having? Did anybody have a reception in the Winter Garden?

I'm starting to think maybe my guest list is too long anyway... They said a minimum of 225 people on a Saturday night in the Garden Terrace, and while I could scrounge up that many people, that's a bigger crowd than I'd originally envisioned.

Thanks!

So they can do a reception in the Winter Garden... where was the cocktail hour? Do you have any idea how many people she had?

Thanks!

a recep in the winter garden pavillion will only accomodate 150 people, with dancing. 150 is a little tight, too.

If you use this room (we are), we have 2 upstairs rooms as the CH rooms. Lantern, and petite garden.

However, if you get married in the largest room, your CH will be in the winter garden pavil.

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

I have the Garden Terrace room and while I fell in love with it while attending a wedding in the Briar Fox room (which I liked as well) my FAVE room is the Winter Garden room.

If they suggested the Garden Terrace I doubt you'd be able to get your party into the WG. The max in the Garden Terrace is 300 but that's a squeeze!! Why don't you do the Briar Fox with the cocktail hour in the Winter Garden?

Depending on the time of year you are looking at- if you have the Garden Terrace you can have an outdoor cocktail hour if the weather is at least 65. I was at a wedding there Nov 5 and they got to have it outside- It's great!!

I don't rec packing the room to the max (wherever you go)...I was squished in the GT room for that Nov 5 wedding and it's not fun!

Good luck!

If that's true it must only be for evening brides..while I love the Wint G room, I want my guests to be comfy- with 225 people I think the Briar fox is better (tho not prettier!)...IMHO. Interesting that they do that tho...

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

I'm confused.....how many people fit comfortable in the Briar Fox room? I have 220 guests on my list and even though I don't expect everyone I want to have a place that just in case, everyone fits.

I was told that I can have the cocktail hour in the Winter Garden Pavilion and reception in the Briar Fox but this was before I knew I had 220...initially i thought I hade 180

I was there on Saturday and they told me that they couldn't put me in the Winter Garden room for the cocktail hour... but maybe they just thought I'd be having too many people.

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

My CH is in the WGP and the reception is in the Briar Fox...which doesn't hold anywhere near 220...I think the max is 180 and that's squeezing everyone in. My minimum is 110 for that room. The WGP is a nice room - but the day I originally went to look at the Fox Hollow they had just chlorinated the fountain at the back of the room and it reeked like an indoor pool. That's one of the reasons I didn't choose the room. I couldn't get the smell out of my brain.

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

Honestly, don't max out your room!! I was in the Garden Terrace at a table for 14!!! Good thing I knew the people I was squished with! I want AT LEAST 50 ppl less (I have a low min....but the Sat eve min is 225)

For lovelyChas- with 220 or so for the Briar Fox I dont think it'll fit like nygirl77 said. I think you'll either have to cut people or move to the Garden Terrace.

For Shorty McBride- what time of the year did they tell you that they could do the WG CH for a Garden Terrace wedding? From what my BM told me they have a set flow to the day and move the parties through the rooms in a certain order.

I thought the only option for the Garden Terrace was the outdoor CH as that's the only room with the garden access....

It's such a good place I don't think we can go wrong!

Thank you.....I called and they told me they can fit 12 tables with 16 at each table. But I think that's a lot of people on a table

Re: Fox Hollow Brides

The WGP holds 150 max
the Briar Fox holds-180 max
Garden Terrace holds 300.

I'm in the Garden terrace and if it doesnt rain our CH will be outside in the gardens exclusive to us that day.

If it does rain our CH will be in the Briar fox.

we're having about at least 180 guests.

I'm in the Winter Garden Pavillion for the reception, min is 110, max is 150, we'll probably have about 120. I love that room!
