I would do it th same night as your shower. I think it would be too stressful to do it the Friday before.

I would rather do it on the night of your shower. You're going to have too much going on so close to your wedding to enjoy a b-party!

I would do it the night of your shower...I have a similar situtaion in that my sis and MOH lives in LA and it will be hard for her t get home twice in teh few months befro emy wedding so I have already thrown it out there that we should do bach and shower same weekend...
