06 Ladies looking for a florist!!!

I just want to express how much I loved my florist & my flowers.

I started off shopping for the tree branch centerpiece - if you now what that is.
Some florists seemed nice - but really didn't 'get' the design I wanted.

Other florists - basically, it was a used car dealership and I felt so uncomfortable.

Then I met Jennifer of Verbena Designs (www.verbenadesigns.com)
I was so elated with my flowers - I can't even tell you how wonderful it was to work with her.

If you have that need for creativity, or you have a certain idea maybe you see in a magazine - she can replicate it exactly.
Even if it's some obscure flower that is in the arrangement - she can identify it immediately, and find it! The flowers I asked for are the flowers I got - and they were gorgeous.
She is a floral genious!

After our meeting, she took so many notes initially and sent me a PROPOSAL. Yes, in the mail - a proposal with pictures, descriptions, details, etc. So professional - she takes her job seriously and you can tell she loves what she does.

Although this is not my formal review - I just wanted to let you know that she is went above & beyond my expectations and I can't stop raving about her!

Her prices came in just a bit lower than others - but the QUALITY and variety of flowers I received was something I know I wouldn't have received from any other florist I interviewed.

I told her I like pumpkins - you should have seen my placecard table - she carved out these mini pumpkins and placed a votive inside of them. Every accent was beautiful - she found these orangey- what might be mini tomatoes? Lol...on a long stalk and intertwined them into the table with real beautiful leaves. I couldn't believe they were real until I touched them and was shocked!

She is AMAZING. Definitely put her on your list of florists to visit.

i wish i had gone with her... don't get me wrong, i liked my florist, but i think she could've have done a lot better. she's really sweet and the first florist we met with. her estimate was higher than the others we met with, so we didn't go with her. but i agree! her work is beautiful!

I met with Jennifer and she was great. ONLY issue we had with her was the fact that she only had a store front. She was only there when she had appointments. She also works mainly on her own with a small staff. We were going to look at the hall with her one day and she got sick. She had to cancel and FH and I thought, what if she's sick for the wedding?
Glad everything worked out well for you and I BELIEVE her work to be FANTASTIC!! Please post pics as soon as you can!

Thanks so much..this is the vendor i am struggling to choose. I just felt like all of the florists gave me the same types of designs...and to be honest all of them asked me to tell them what i wanted...I have no idea about flowers (the reason i work in a book store and not in any kind of artistic job) I know that they want to get an idea of what i am looking for, but i would like for once to walk into a place and have them say ..I am an artist and this is what i see for your wedding. Does anyone understand what I'm saying?
