Anyone get married in NYC? It's taking forever to get my marriage certificate!!!
How long did it take before you received your marriage certificate (and which bourough did you get married in)?THANKS!

I posted this before, because I had the same concern. But anyone who filed for thier license within any of the 5 boroughs...it can take anywhere betweem 8 to 9 weeks to receive your certificate. I filed in the bronx and did not receive my certificate until 10/20 which was 8 weeks later on our 2 month anniversary..So try not to fret. They are very backed up. It will come in the mail soon!

I got mine in Manhattan. We got married 10/15 and we JUST got our certificate on 11/23!!!

I got my license in NYC about 2 weeks b4 the wedding and it was waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon.

I applied for the lisence in Manhattan. They misplaced the paper work and we finally got it (after LOTS of calling) after 5 MONTHS.
