Bridesmaid's Gifts

Having trouble thinking of BM gifts. Have a total of 6 girls. Have any ideas?

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

Right now I'm trying to decide what to buy also. I was thinking I was gonna buy a necklace and put it in a bag (possibly with their initials on it) with like a compact and nice keychain and picture frame in it, but then I wasn't sure if they would use the stuff.... Would you people want that as a BM gift or would you prefer a nicer necklace?

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

my sister in law gave her bridesmaids a nice matching earring and necklace set, so they could all wear it and match on the wedding day, and they were pretty enough to wear again

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

I am doing up a small basket of stuff for each of the girls. I purchased necklace and earring sets of eBay for $8 a piece and also an assortment of bath salts that smell fabulous. I am also getting them bath products from Victoria's Secret and then after the wedding I am doing a pic frame for them with a pic of the bridal party in it (actually for all the members of the BP) and possibly engraving it as well with a special thank you message.

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

if you know them well and have time, get them something individualized, not necessarily the traditional bm gift, that you knwo they would love. i was a bm once and i got a GC to my fav spa, and a bag of assorted godiva coffee, which i love too (http://www.godiva.com/catalog/product.aspx?id=38&SE_Section=2&keyword=coffee )..but then I am a coffee addict

IMHO, I think very often i think bms get stuff they wouldn't use, and that just becomes a waste of $.

I'd prefer a nicer necklace, but you know your girls better than me

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

I was planning on getting a braclet and this hands and foot cream that is wonderful from Bath and Body but it is sold exclusively through their sales representatives. (sort of like Mary Kay or Avon) So, this product is not in stores.

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

I am thinking about Tiffany necklaces for each of them. I would get them the sterling silver ones with small charms...

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

I'm contemplating a pedicure salon kit that I saw in BB & B. And something else that I can't figure out.

I decided against jewelry because not all the girls have pierced ears. And everyone has different tastes. I already told them I wasn't getting them jewelry, so they can plan.

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

I would be careful with the necklaces. My sister got me one when she got married & it was too small for my neck. It broke before even making it to the wedding.
My friend who is average size has large wrists..so average bracelets don't fit. I think jewelry is hard. I would stick with the coach wristlets someone recommended.

Re: Bridesmaid's Gifts

I have got them necklaces (a little different for each, but garnet) and earrings (I love overstock, btw), shower gel, lotion and body spray from Avon (they had a sale-$10 for set, different scent for each according to what they like), and note cards with their initials ($3 from Marshalls). Does that sound good to you?
