Random question - looking for a way to bring color to my table settings...
So our tables for the wedding will have lots of white. Tall white calla lilly centerpieces, white tablecloths, etc. I am getting menus printed that will have some red on them (red is our color), but my florist said it might be pretty to put a red fresh flower at each place setting (on top of the menu or tucked into the napkin somehow)....was wondering if anyone has pics of something like this? Would this look pretty and brighten up the tables a bit, or would it be useless? What are your thoughts?

I have seen red roses placed at the rim of the Calla Lily Vase. I also, suggest that you could wrao your favors in the red wrapper or ribbon or use red candle holders.

I think it would look beautiful! I've seen it in some magazines but don't have any pics to show you. Or you could do what someone already suggested and use a few rose petals around the centerpiece. If you're going mostly white I wouldn't use too much color though, you don't want it to overpower your centerpiece, just compliment it and tie everything together.

I'm having the same EXACT problem. I'm in June and my colors are red and pink. I'm having tall white calla CP's and white table clothes with white chair covers. My florist is throwing in some tiny roses into the CP to add some color and then he's sprinkling red rose petals all over the tables. He said to do just a touch of red because the white makes the room so much classier.

Make sure it is something your caterer will do. I can tell you from experience this takes a long time to do. For my engagement party I folded all the naps tied them with ribbons and put a silk flower in it. Very pretty but way to time consuming. Maybe the caterer will let you take the naps home so that you can do them.

I love that idea. I new someone who put flowers in the napkins at the table, so pretty!!Of course, if its way to much money, then its not worth it.
