For those of you who are not (or didn't) sending photo thank you cards...

what did you or will you send to your guests as a thank you card? was it customized or store bought?

A few months ago I ordered monogrammed cards but I am now thinking of just using those for folks who sent gifts but were not invited. IMO, they don't look nice enough to me.

any suggestions you have would be great! here is a picture of the note cards I have

We got similiar cards through the store we order our invites from--we are just going to put our photo in the cards because I hate those cards the photographers give out.

I also ordered the Thank you cards that matched our invites and I put the clear photo corners in and inserted the picture inside the card and entered my own thanks.

Here's a pic of our invites and RSVP card. Out TY's had the butterfly in the middle and our names on either side of them. I wanted to keep the theme going.

Your note cards are lovely! We didn't do the photograph, maybe it's me, but the wallet photos are so tiny. I always wind up tossing them or sticking them in an album and never looking at them again.

I do not have a photo of my stationery, but I bought Crane stationery, with a small blue topiary on the front (this matched my color theme). It said Thank you inside, but I basically wrote a note to each person to fill the space. It was expensive, but I think it was very nice stationery to use.

we got fold over note cards using the same paper and font as our invite (letterpress paper and citadel font) with black ink centered on the front of the card. It said both of our first names and last name.

They were very simple, but I received a lot of compliments on them.

We deviated from tradition and sent a TY card out with a photo of us from the HM. It was fun and in keeping with our nautical theme.

I must have heard from at least 30 different guests about how much they liked them. This was one of the most popular things we did!

We're not going to use photo thank you's. I'm going to order fold over note cards with our name on the front from the printer we got our invites from.

This is what we are using too...ours say our first names and the first initial of our last name. We are not using a picture.
