NWR: Any Special Education Teachers working in D75 in NYC?

If so- how do you like it? Did you ever work in a community school & how does it compare?


The reason I ask is because I love working with special needs children- I just hate that they don't get the support or resources that they need. I was wondering if possibly in a specilaized school everyone would be on the same page- and not be so concerned with bulletin boards and portfolios!!!

i work in a day treatment center with special needs kids..i am a school social worker though...it seems very tough for the teachers..but you gotta have it in you..and good back up like us social workers...hehe
