Ladies - need your creative ideas for my donation favors

I am trying to convince FH to donate to NY Cares for our favors - I need a cute and inexpensive way to tell our guests that we have donated $$$ to NY Cares in lieu of favors. The NY Cares logo is attached - our theme is NY and Red....

Thanks, girls - I'm not a very creative 'diy' - type person, so I'm hoping someone out there will have a great idea :)

How about placing scrolls of paper at each place setting informing your guests of this. You could also attach a little card stating where you donated to a box of chocolate, etc. Hope this helps!

Maybe make a card that shows photos of the things that NYCares does to help.. like mural painting at schools, tutoring & reading to kids, meals at shelters, help at senior citizens centers, garden projects, walking dogs at shelters...

I am attaching scrolls to boxes filled with dove chocolates...I am also putting a picture on the scrolls as we are donating in memory of my grandparents...here is the poem

We did little cards with our monogram on the front but you could put whatever you want on it... I got the cards from icaels and printed them at home.

Since their logo is an apple and your theme is Red, how about a Macintosh apple at every seating with a tag tied to the stem saying where the donation is going?

That is a really awesome idea! Plus if your theme is NY and Red...a red apple, NY is the big apple...loving it!

Found the picture here It is actually of an apple candle, but real apples would be less expensive if you are giving a donation. But if you went with candles, I saw some other cool sites with apple candles that look very real.
