Invite Wording Question

If my parents are paying for the bulk of the wedding, and FH's parents are paying for nothing, then it's perfectly acceptable for the invite to list my parent's names only, right??

Re: Invite Wording Question

My father recently passed but my family (and FH and myself) are paying for the wedding. However, I learned from reading Crane's Blue Book, that it is Jewish tradition to include both families regardless of who is paying as a wedding celebrates the joining of two families. I also feel that even though my family is paying, people need to know who and where my FH comes from. When both families pay, the names of both sets of parents go on the top. Do as you wish. I don't think that either way is wrong. This is my invitation.
